On behalf of Life for Africa, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all Ethiopians in the diaspora—especially those in the DMV area—for your continued trust, generosity, and financial support over the past five years. Your partnership has made it possible for us to provide over $50,000 in direct financial assistance to children in need of life-saving heart surgeries at the Ethiopian Cardiac Center.
Last year, through our collaboration with Project C.U.R.E., we successfully delivered over $500,000 worth of essential medical equipment to healthcare facilities in Ethiopia. Most recently, we proudly donated a specialized medical device—valued at $40,000—to the Children’s Heart Fund of Ethiopia. This equipment is the only one of its kind in the country, and it will greatly enhance the care provided to children suffering from heart conditions.
As we continue to serve Ethiopia and the broader African continent, we are also expanding our mission to support the African diaspora, particularly in the DC metro area. Our programs will focus on empowering youth, supporting seniors, and promoting health and wellness. At the heart of our long-term vision is the creation of an African Cultural Center—a vibrant hub to celebrate Africa’s rich heritage and connect the continent with the global community.
